It’s truly incredible how far the love and loyalty of a dog can go. This dog showed that no matter what the situation, he would be there to protect his owner.

The Siberian forest is full of wild species and can be easy to get lost in. This was what unfortunately happened to 4-year-old Karina Chikitova. On the brighter side of things, she had her faithful pup, Kyrachaan, to keep her company and more importantly, keep her safe.

It was a day like any other when Karina wondered into the forest. There were hundreds of people in search for the missing child. Unfortunately no one could find any signs of Karina.

The young girl and her dog were surviving off berries and natural water. Kyrachaa would protect Karina from wild animals and keep her warm when the temperature dropped.

It wasn’t until a week later when rescuers were about to give up on the search, that Kyrachaan was able to spot the rescuers and point them towards where Karina was.

The 4-year-old was found in a tall bed of grass, 4 miles away from her village. Karina was weak and scared, but surprisingly she had no serious injuries or wounds, just mild scratches and a few bug bites.
