Father Takes Picture Of Daughter's Final Eyelash. The Story Behind It Will Touch Your Heart

Getting told you have cancer can be one of the most devastating things in life. But the most important thing after that is to have hope that things will get better.

Chemotherapy, being one of the options to help fight the cancer, is not a fun one at all. 7-year-old Hayley Brown had to start chemo when she was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in her nose.

With all the bad news and going through painful chemotherapy sessions, Hayley remained positive and hopeful, even when her hair began to fall off.

Despite the rapid hair loss, Hayley’s eyelashes remained intact. It got to the point where the nurses would address her as “Hayley and her beautiful lashes.”

After 8 months of chemo, Hayley’s lashes began to fall off, until there was one left. The one lash decided to stay on the girls face, even after all her hair had fallen off. It was as if the lash represented hope that everything will be okay.

Now, with only a few weeks left of radiation left, Hayley keeps her positivity. And incredibly her recent scans have shown that the tumor has reduced in size.
