After 9 Dogs Were Abandoned On His Property, Homeowner Treats Them All With The Cutest Thing

This man on pulling a train of 9 dogs is one of the most wonderful things I’ve seen.

Texas retiree Eugene Bostick has quite the story to tell after rescuing 9 dogs that were left to starve on his property.

The 80-year-old man has lived on a 11-acre farm with his brother Walter for over 70 years. Since they lived at their Fort Worth home, many animals in need have stopped by the property – dogs in particular.

“We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn,” Eugene told The Dodo. “People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.”

Eugene got the idea after seeing a man on a tractor hauling large rocks with several carts in tow. With a little inspiration, Eugene cut holes into plastic barrels and attached wheels under them. The dog train turned into a huge success.

At least once a week, Eugene lets the dogs load up into each barrel of the train for some fun. Each dog knows the drill and are more than happy to go on a little adventure each time.

When the dogs aren’t riding with Eugene, they are running freely the 11-acre property and enjoying life.

“You would be surprised how good it makes you feel when you see them loading up and how happy they are,” Eugene told CBS Evening News. Thanks to this man, these misfit dogs that no one wanted are now the celebrities of the town.
